#RoadWarriors



What are #RoadWarriors?   #RoadWarriors are volunteers involved in a program that goes above and beyond programs of this nature. The program will be rooted in community stakeholders that have specific calls to action with one goal in mind: Saving Lives on Wyoming Roads. However, volunteering has never been more rewarding; nor has attending an event to learn lifesaving information. The #RoadWarrior volunteer program and events offer numerous ways to be rewarded for helping others and yourself. The event and social media portion of this program includes incentive items ranging from school supplies and clothing to headphones and televisions!

What are #RoadWarrior events? People willing to attend the #RoadWarrior will learn roadway safety focused, lifesaving information and will be eligible to win items such as school supplies and clothing.  Each event will have specific focus for seatbelts, impaired driving and distracted driving. How about the large scale prizes you ask? #RoadWarriors that repeat our social media messaging the most (via Facebook and twitter) will be the winners! Being present at the close of the event with the highest number of likes and retweets will be their ticket to a big reward. However, the biggest reward of all will be spreading the knowledge of how to survive the roads in the Wild West. This program will help ensure that roadway related issues are brought to light and the voices of our people are heard; all while supporting our local law enforcement that deal with the tragedy of lives lost and serious injury on Wyoming roads. Most crashes are preventable and roadway issues are not victimless crimes. Saving lives on our roads is a noble yet commonly overlooked cause. When you become a #RoadWarrior, you have a voice to be heard and a choice to be vocal for the greater good of Wyoming!
