PRIME For Life is an alcohol and drug program for people of all ages. It is designed to gently but powerfully challenge common beliefs and attitudes that directly contribute to high-risk alcohol and drug use. The primary goal of PRIME For Life is prevention of any type of alcohol or drug problems. This includes prevention and education of health problems such as alcoholism or impairment problems such as a car crash or fights. Emphasis is on knowing and understanding risks one cannot change and reducing risks one can change.

My PRIME For Life experience
By Gabby Kohler
I recently attended the PRIME For Life Instructor training in Memphis, TN. Memphis was an exciting city with amazing BBQ, generous people and lots of interesting tourist attractions. While all of these things were a
great experience, my primary focus was the four days of training. The vast amount of information that the instructors presented exceeded any expectations I had. I am excited to have the opportunity to teach this
class and empower people with the choices they can make to change their lives! Many people do not realize
that they are putting what they value most in their lives at danger every day by making high-risk choices.
Not only that, but by making these high-risk choices over a lengthy period, they could be jeopardizing their
own lives! This was truly an eye opening experience for me personally and I look forward to co-teaching September’s PRIME For Life class.
Classes are held every other month starting in January, call IPR to sign-up or for further information. 307-856-2821
